Athletics Success

On the 3rd of March a group of us took part in the Munster Schools Indoor Games. It was on in the Nenagh Indoor Track. We had huge success. We brought home 24 medals. Thank you to our coach Noelle Morrissey for training us.


Minors:

Rachel Hosey: 1200m Gold

Juniors:

Anna Burke: 600m Silver
Emma Doyle: 1200m Bronze
Conor Bermingham: 1200m Gold

Intermediate:

Chloe Tobin: 60m Silver
Chloe Tobin: 60m Hurdles Silver
Barry Richardson: 600m Joint Bronze

Success in the All Ireland School’s Athletics Competition in Tullamore

Thomas Blake, Evan Crotty, Billy Cosgrave and Sean McBrearty who won the 4x100m inter relay with a great time of 44.65.

Evan Crotty and Billy Cosgrave were placed 2nd & 3rd in the 400m, both achieving personal bests.

Jenna Bromell came second in the inter 300m hurdles.

 

School’s Record beaten by Sarah Lavin, Castletroy College

Sarah Lavin won the 100 m hurdles final in a time of 13.73 which beat the Schools’ Record and World Junior A standard.
