The Student Enterprise Team at Castletroy College won 1st, 2nd and joint 3rd place for ‘Best Innovations’ at the recent Student Enterprise Christmas Market in The Milk Market on Friday 15th December 2017.
The event was sponsored by MAST (Market Alive Support Team) with a trophy for the winning school and prizes of €250 (1st place), €150 (2nd place) and €100 (3rd place). The winning students are planning to reinvest their winnings into their Mini-Companies along with rewarding themselves with a well deserved Christmas bonus!
Approximately 40 Mini-Companies from secondary schools around Limerick City & County took part in the event.
The Mini-Companies from Castletroy College were:
– Managing Change: Jodie O’ Neill (2nd place)
– Harry’s Handcrafts: Harry O’ Brien
– Jack’s Christmas Decorations: Jack Fitzgerald (Joint 3rd place)
– App of Troy: Adam Flahive, Joe Kelly, Finlay Robertson & Ciarán Fitzgerald (1st place)
– Jack’s Sweet Cakes: Jack Moloney
