The aim of Castletroy College’s TY Programme is to give students opportunities to discover and develop their individual gifts and strengths, to become more independent and to experience a year where the emphasis will be on cultivating individual responsibility for study and self directed work.
The programme aims also to encourage the development of thinking, caring, articulate and self confident people.
Students will be helped to discover individual talents, aptitudes and abiliites, understand their own educational needs and develop those skills and competences necessary to cope successfully with their particular stage of development.
