On the 17th of October Brid 4 participated in their first week of horse riding lessons with Lough Derg Equestrian Centre. They were split into three different groups, where one would watch from the viewing area, one would lead the horse, and the other would ride.
There were a variety of horses assigned for people to share. The activities involved included a minature obstacle course where the riders would lead the horse around poles and through designated areas.
Overall, the instructors were extremely helpful in training the transition years in the proper technique of horse riding. We look forward to seeing them and the horses again next week.
